- Yarn: Cotton yarn in various spring colors
- Hook size: 2mm (or size depending on the yarn you use)

SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet
INC – increase
DEC – decrease
BLO – back loop only
FLO – front loop only
SL ST – slip stitch
SK ST – skip stitch

1: mr, 8sc, sl st in first = [8]
2: ch1, 8 x inc, sl st = [16]
3: ch1, (sc, inc) x 8, sl st = [24]
4: ch1, (3sc, inc) x 6, sl st = [30]
5: ch1, (2sc, inc, 2sc) x 6, sl st = [36]
6: ch1, (5sc, inc) x 6, sl st = [42]
7: ch2, BLO 42dc, sl st = [42]
8-9: ch2, 42dc, sl st = [42]
10: ch2, (3dc in one stitch, dc) x 5, FLO 3dc in one stitch *place first marker here,
(dc, 3dc in one stitch) x 10, FLO dc *place second marker here,

Fasten off
Attach yarn where is first marker, ch30, sl st in to the stitch where is second marker
turn and make 30 slip stitches.
